Casa de Case is proud to
bring the olive oils of Francesco De Padova to the United States.
Francesco De Padova is the fourth generation overseer of the family
operation producing high quality olive oil, not only as his job
but also his passion. Starting with a little oil mill in Avetrana
(Puglia), De Padova today represents the whole production process of
olive oil "from the seed to the bottle." Olive trees are
cultivated in the family greenhouses and nursery, cared for until ready
for planting in their 1,000 acre estate, and the organically grown fruit
is milled in their ISO 9000 certified frantoio, all under the
careful control of the family. The De Padova brand is know all over
Italy, and is synonymous with quality.
All De Padova olive oil
is produced exclusively from olive plantations located in the
Protected Origin Denomination product "D.O.P. Terra Otranto." De
Padova has achieved AIAB certification (Italian Association of Organic
Farming). It has been recognized as among the best producers of organic
olive oil in the world by the annual "BIOL International Prize" of
Andria (Puglia), and now the Gold Medal for Italian Classic Blends at
the L.A. County Olive Oils of the World Competition, the most
prestigious international competition.
